IKE H. MATTHEWS

Ike H. Matthews, 74, Kansas City in Clay county, died April 15, 1993 at North Kansas City Hospital. Services will be at 3 p.m. Saturday at Newcomer’s Floral Hills Chapel; burial in Floral Hills Cemetery. Friends may call from 1:30 to 3 p.m. Saturday at the chapel.

Mr. Matthews was born in Amoret, Mo., and lived in this area since 1946. He was a mechanic for Trans World Airlines Inc, for 37 years, retiring in 1983. He was a member of the Local 1650 of the Machinists union. He was an Army veteran of World War II. Survivors include his wife, Mary E. Matthews of the home; two daughters, Jackie K. Reishus, Colorado Springs, Colo., and Linda Terranova, Independence; a brother, Clyde E. Matthews, Amoret; and three grandchildren.
