Obituaries
Mrs. Anna Elizabeth Pryor, 82, a life long resident of this vicinity, died last night at 10:35 at her home, 1315 East First Street, where she had resided the past 40 years. She had been in failing health with a heart ailment.

She is survived by two sons, John David Pryor and William Arthur Copeland of Fort Scott and two daughters, Mrs. Clarence (Maude) Thornton of Fort Scott and Mrs. Earl (Winnie) Brewer of Kansas City. There are eight grandchildren and twelve great-great children.

Funeral services will be held Sunday at 2 p.m. at the Church of God, Wall and Broadway. Burial will be in Chapel Grove Cemetery.

The body is at the Cheney funeral home.

Anna Pryor Rites

Relatives, neighbors and friends from Fort Scott, Bourbon, Linn counties and a distance, gathered Sunday afternoon at the Church of God, Wall and Broadway, for the funeral of Mrs. Anna Elizabeth Pryor, 82, who died last Tuesday.

The services were conducted by the Rev. William B. Wiggans who was assisted by the Rev. Clarence Thornton Jr., the grandson of the dedeased. Reese Singmaster was the soloist. The pianist was Martha Stanbro.

Burial was in the Chapel Grove Cemetery. The pallbearers were Loren Rinehart, Carl W. Seaver, H.L. Lightwine, F.E. Wagner, Leo Harlan and Benton More.

The services were directed by the Cheney Undertaking Co.

Mrs. Anna C. PRYOR, wife of Chas. Pryor of this place, died last Saturday morning at 11 o'clock after two week's suffering from a complication of diseases.
Funeral services were held at Christian church by Elder C.M. WICKHAM, after which the remains were interred in the Oak Lawn cemetery.
Deceased was born Nov. 17, 1831, hence she had passed 66 years of age when death overtook her. She was a native of Illinois. A husband, four daughters and one son survive her.
