Obviously, this isn't a member of the family. I found this interesting pastel as the backing in the frame of an ornate Wedding Certificate for William Henry Simpson and Ada Mae Brown.

What makes this interesting is that there is a barely legible signature at the bottom right, which I believe to be "Edith Long". If memory serves, Edith was a sister of my dad's first wife, Josephine Long. I'll have to check it out with my sis.
