He was born Aug 5, 1898, in Topeka where he spent his life. He was a member of the Eagles Lodge. He owned and operated the Crawford Laundry at 508 W. 8th about 15 years before he retired. He was married to Myrtle B. Snavely Nov 6, 1920, in Topeka.1 She died in 1968 Survivors include two sons, Jack B. Crawford, 438 Wabash, and Donald L. Crawford, Portland, Ore.; a daughter, Mrs. Mary E. Paulitsky, Mt. Prospect, Ill.; a brother, Arch Crawford, Phoenix, Ariz.; seven grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. Mr. Crawford died Sunady in a Topeka convalescent center.He had been a patient in a Topeka hospital before going to the center.
