John H. Snavely, 78, died Saturday in a Kansas City hospital. He is survived by his widow, Mrs. Effie Snavely, of Topeka; three daughters, Mrs. Pansy Patton, Kansas City; Mrs. Myrtle Crawford, Topeka; Mrs. Elsie Eaton, Santa Barbara, Calif.; one son, James, Los Angeles.

The funeral will be held at 4 o'clock Tuesday at the grave in Topeka cemetery. The body will lie in state at Shellbarger's chapel until until the funeral hour.
