Mrs. Mary A. Simpson, wife of John Simpson, who works in the supply yard at the Frisco. died last night at 9:30 at the family home, 1626 East Pine street after a short illness. The deceased was 27 years of age, and the cause of death was pneumonia fever. The deceased had many friends who will regret to learn of her early demise. The funeral will be held tomorrow morning at 9 o'clock from the Catholic church, conducted by Father McKernan. Interment will be made in Catholic cemetery.

The funeral of Mrs. J.L. Simpson was held this morning at 9:30. Services were conducted by Father Urban of the Catholic church. A large number of sympathizing friends gathered to show their last tribute of respect to her who was called to serve her Maker at the early hour in life. Mrs. Simpson leaves a mother, a husband, and four small children to mourn their loss. The funeral was in charge of the Harrison Mutual Burial Association. The pallbearers were members of the W.O.W. drill team.
