Mrs. Pansy E. Patton, 78, of a nursing home at 622 Benton, died
yesterday at the home. Mrs. Patton was born in David City, Neb.,
and had lived in this area more than 40 years. She was a memeber
of the London Heights Methodist Church. Mr.s Patton was a past
Commander of the Navy Mothers Club, and a member of the Golden
Age Club of the First United Presbyterian Church, Kansas City,
Kansas. She leaves three sons, Paul Patton, Kansas City, Kansas;
Thomas Robert Patton, 5730 Manning, Raytown, and John William
Patton, 7819 West 85th, Overland Park; three daughters, Mrs.
Dorothy Simpson, 4137 East 11th; Mrs. Jean Miller, 4502 Arlington,
and Mrs. Jane Potchad, 3035 S. 46th Terrace, Kansas City, Kansas;
a brother, James Snavely, Los Angeles; a sister, Mrs. Jane Hildebrand,
Beaumont, Calif,; 14 grandchildren, and five great-grandchildren.
Services wil be at 1 p.m. Friday at the Fulton-Nickel Chapel;
burial in Bethel Cemetery in Leavenworth County, Kansas. Friends
may call after 5 p.m. today at the chapel.
