Jane E. Potchad

Mrs. Jane E. Potchad, 53, of 3035 S. 46th Terrace, Kansas City,
Kansas, died Friday at the University of Kansas Medical center.
She was a lifelong resident of Kansas City, Kansas. She was a
member of of the Emerson Park Christian Church. She was vice-president
of the Women's Auxiliary of American Legion Post No 399. She
retired last year as accounting supervisor at Swift and Company,
where she had been employed 17 years.
She leaves her husband, Walter M. Potchad of the home; a daughter,
Mrs. Susan J. Kendall, Sacramento; three brothers, Paul Patton,
1920 S. 53rd, Kansas City, Kansas; Thomas R. Patton, Jr., 5730
Manning, Raytown, and John W. Patton, 7810 West 85th, Overland
Park, and two sisters, Mrs. Jean Miller, 4205 Arlington, and
Mrs. Dorothy Simpson, 4137 East llth.
Services will be at 10 a.m. Monday at the Maple Hill Chapel;
burial in Maple Hill cemetery. Friends may call from 2 to 4 p.m.
and from 7 to 9 p.m. today at the chapel. The family requets
no flowers and suggests contributions to the church.
