Mrs. Dorothy E. Simpson, 63, of 4205 Arlington, died Tuesday at a nursing home at 6124 Raytown Road, Raytown. She was born in Jarbalo, Kan., and had lived in this area 50 years. Mrs. Simpson was a supervisor and manager of the Kroger Food Store, Kansas City, Kansas before retiring. She was amember of the First Baptist Church, Raytown. She leaves a son, Orville M. Simpson, Prairie Village; three brothers, T.R. Patton, Jr., Raytown; Paul Patton, Kansas City, Kansas; and John Patton, Mesa Ariz.; and a sister, Mrs. Jean Miller of the home. Services will be at 11 a.m. Thursday at the Shiel Colonial Chapel; burial in Bethel Cemetery, Leavenworth. Friends may call after 5 p.m. today at the chapel. The family suggests contributions to the American Cancer Society.
