Death Came Yesterday at the Hospital Following An
Operation
- No Funeral Arrangements Yet.
Mrs. Martha Ann Brown, aged 67 years, died yesterday at Mercy
Hospital, following an operation which she underwent last Friday
afternoon at the hospital for gall stones. The deceased had been
suffering intermittently for the past seven years, but her condition
and not been considered serious until about four months ago.
It was believed then that relief could be obtained through an

was so much improved last week that it was believed circumstances
were as favorable as possible, and she was taken to the hospital
on Thursday, undergoing the operation on Friday.

of 1104 East Wall, Mrs. Robert Pryor**, of 1713 East First; and
another sister** in Pueblo Colo.; and one brother, T.J. Camp(1),
of Market Street.

is received as to the time of arrival here of Jasper Brown of
Detroit, the eldest son of the deceased.
